Right now, trans and queer communities are being targeted—by lawmakers, by media, by people who think our lives are up for debate. We’re watching policies pass that strip away basic rights. We’re hearing rhetoric that fuels violence. And we’re seeing the mental toll it’s taking, especially on queer and trans youth who are just trying to survive.

This is not a moment for silence.

When you’re queer, when you’re trans, when you love someone who is—your existence is already political. And in a time when hate is getting louder, staying quiet isn’t neutral. It’s dangerous.

That’s why this matters. Visibility matters. Voice matters. Action matters.

At Bottoms Line, we’re building more than clothes—we’re building a message. A new line is coming that doesn’t just look good. It speaks up. It pushes back. It says: We see what’s happening, and we refuse to shrink.

But this fight isn’t just about what you wear. There are so many ways to show up:

1. Speak up.

Have the hard conversations. Online. At your job. At family dinners. Don’t let ignorance go unchecked. It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be honest

2. Put your money where your values are.

Support queer-owned businesses. Donate to organizations doing the work—like The Trevor Project, which is on the front lines of suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth

3. Show up locally.

Join protests. Write to your representatives. Vote in every election, big or small. Local policies can make or break people’s lives.

4. Protect each other.

Check in on your people. Offer help. Share resources. Build community. Resistance is loud, but it’s also about care.

5. Make art. Make noise. Be unapologetically visible.

Whether it’s through fashion, music, writing, or just showing up as yourself—don’t let anyone convince you that you’re too much. You’re exactly enough.

Bottoms Line will always stand with queer and trans folks. Always. And with this new collection, we’re putting money where our mouth is—a portion of every sale will go directly to The Trevor Project.

Because we’re not interested in quiet anymore.

We’re here. We’re loud. We’re not going anywhere.

Just a heads up for anyone wondering—yes, a portion of every sale from our statement pieces does go directly to The Trevor Project. We made our first donation the other day, and we’re committed to keeping that going. This isn’t performative—it’s part of who we are.

(We sold 2 hats totaling $60 from the collection... but the 30% of profit we intended to donate wasn't landing and we were in the position to do more)
